Can I have tracking information via API webhook?
Subscribe once, get live updates. You register a webhook URL in the platformâs front end and select the event types you want (processing milestones, delivery feedback from channels, reachability check results, validation errors/warnings, etc.).
Event push, not polling. For every relevant lifecycle event, the platform posts a structured JSON payload to your endpointâso your ERP/accounting systems or tracking dashboards update instantly without periodic API polling.
What you see in each event
- Identifiers: documentId and, for batches, a sendingId
- Timing & status: timestamps and the current status
- Diagnostics: error codes and descriptions (when applicable)
- Metadata: tenant ID, document type, delivery channel, and more
Document-level and bulk visibility
- Per document: You receive granular events tied to each documentâs documentId.
- Per sending session (bulk): When you submit in bulk (e.g., via SFTP), all files you drop on the same day are grouped into a single sending session. Events include the sendingId, letting you monitor the batch end-to-end and drill down to individual documents.
Reliability & security
- Register multiple endpoints
- Filter which event types you receive
- Automatic retries if your endpoint is temporarily unavailable
- Delivery logs for audit and troubleshooting
- Transport is secure and low-latency
Works alongside the REST API
Webhooks provide a scalable, event-driven way to stay informed; the REST API remains available for on-demand queries and detail retrieval.
